Tri-Fold Lid:

The Tri-Fold lid marked my debut in professional design projects. The initial version of the RUX 70L lid encountered significant material shrinkage in the field. The objective of this project was to engineer a new lid solution for the RUX 70L, addressing the shrinkage issue while enhancing the user experience. Throughout this project, I began to explore the material characteristics of foams and how to integrate them with textiles as well as began to research the narative of how users interact with the RUX 70L.

Role & Process: Investigate user experience, analyze previous product shortcomings, construct new concept prototypes, conduct testing and evaluation, communicate testing feedback to the CDO, implement necessary changes, develop techpacks, and hand off to the product development lead for manufacturing.
